It is again time now to show our appreciation and respect for our favorite TV show “Boogie Woogie”. Boogie Woogie has entertained us from past 13 plus years and have brought innumerous talented dancers from different parts of the country into the limelight. Last years super hit categories of Kids Championships, Naache Taare Zameen Par, Mummy’s Championships, Group performances and Best of Best has not only entertained us but also made us feel proud to watch it with entire family without thinking twice. Boogie Woogie’s honest and true judgment will always stand class apart from the rest of the shows in Indian Television. It is the “ONLY” show that doesn’t try to attract its audiences based on costume malfunction or dividing the nation. It is the “ONLY” show that believes in unity is integrity and honesty and decency is the progression. There are no shows like Boogie Woogie in this world and there will none ever be. Boogie Woogie is THE masterpiece!!

Last year just like many years, Boogie Woogie has managed to grab few awards and one of the award is based on public opinion and that is called Indiantelevision.com’s “Telly Awards 2009”. Indiantelevision.com is about to host its ninth annual Telly Awards. Right now the voting is open for all its categories and it is time to put our love into action by voting for Boogie Woogie. Boogie Woogie qualifies for “Popular Awards” and there are few categories that we must vote under popular awards. They are:

Recently on August 1st, International Boogie Woogie competitions took place where contestants from many countries who won their national championships participated to compete for the world championships at Sykline Sheraton Hotel in London, UK.

Out of many that participated, United States of America’s representative and participant “Sagar Patel” won the International Championships hands down and with utmost honor. Sagar danced on a medley starting with “Bachna aye Hasino” to a Tandav dance from movie “Waqt” with a mix of hip hop and classical. Sagar performed with so much perfection and grace that the judges were totally mesmerized and applauded in favor.

The judges that judged this international competitions were Italian Choreographer “Antonio Susinni”, Actor “Nitin Ganatra” and Indian Idol “Surabhi DebVerma”.

It is told that during the show, Judge Antonio commented after Sagar finished his performance that “he would jump in the swimming pool right there if Sagar didn’t win the championships”. He was totally impressed with Sagar’s performance and gave his vote, encouragement and full points in favor of Sagar.

Mr. Rakesh Patel, father of Sagar Patel has conveyed his message that “everyone from Sony were very helpful and the show was very well organized.” His special thanks went to Suchita, Nash and Mr. Robin Singh who worked very hard for the show. Mr. Patel has extended his gratitude to all of them including Sony and also said “All contestants were amazing and all are winners.”

We congratulate you and your proud son “Sagar Patel” on this amazing victory and wish you the very best in all future endeavors. We are very proud of you Sagar – Keep it Up!!

As we all know, on July 11th, we celebrated our anniversary of Boogie Woogie India Blog. Boogie Woogie India is a fan blog running in appreciation and fully dedicated to the show and our dear judges – Ravi, Naved and Jaaved. As part of our celebrations, we gave ourselves a day off only to return today to be surprised pleasantly.

There is a famous quote by Tenneva Jordon that says: “A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.” Being a mother is one of the God’s greatest blessings. Being a mother is also a full time job and a mother feels she is the highest paid in the world with the payment in form of pure love. Mother sacrifices a lot for her family. She goes through immense pain just to see the smile on her loved ones. A mother has the ability to know what’s going on in her child’s life just with the sound or an expression. A mother never leaves her children at home, even when she doesn’t take them along. To sum up - a mother is God send angel on earth!

After super duper hit of Mummy’s Championship last year, Boogie Woogie is coming back with 2009 Championship for mothers. Mummy’s - it is time now that you come out from your happy little nest to show your talent. You family is well aware of you, but show it to the world that you are a super mom with great talent – Just do it!! Not for the sake of winning but to stand up tall and proud of being a mother. All the Very Best Mothers – get that Video CD’s going to Firdaus AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!

Since the time this blog came into effect, we have been writing that this is only a fan blog and has nothing to do with the OFFICIAL channel or the show – “Boogie Woogie”. I don’t think there can be any other honest way then what we have adopted for this blog.

Anytime, anyone communicated whether it was via emails or via comments, we always have guided them to Boogie Woogie’s official physical address in Mumbai and have given their official website and email id. We are a fan blog running in appreciation for the show and moreover for the judges for their unbiased judgment and the real life lessons that they teach in their own style.

This blog has no commercial value and also you will not see any silly pop ups or advertisements. We wanted to keep the blog free of any ads only so that “WE” and “FANS LIKE US” can show our appreciation and dedication for the people who we admire the most – Javed, Naved and Ravi.

We publish any news related to auditions that we see on air either in India or in US that we feel might help the aspirants of Boogie Woogie. None of the information that we bring you is fabricated or is published for any of our good. What we see, we publish that.

Recently we had uploaded third party videos and pictures and they are by no means downloaded by us as they are available over internet and on various third party hosts and communities. We have stopped embedding Boogie Woogie videos and pictures after coming to know that MSM Satellite does not give rights for publishing and hence you will not see any videos or pictures of Boogie Woogie on this site with immediate effect for all our future articles and reviews. Although BoogieWoogieIndia.Com did contact Sony prior to publishing this website to go through the web content and features that it will be dealing with and when there was no response whatsoever, this blog continued to embed videos and pictures.

Anyway what came as a blast to us was when we read that MSM was ACCUSING this blog for conducting auditions in United States of America pretending to be Boogie Woogie and charging the contestants a fee of $50/-. That is the most RETARDED thing we have ever heard in our life!

There were advertisements that were broadcasted on air regarding the auditions on Sony Channel in USA for every few minutes that gave the contact numbers and regular updates and I am sure many Non Resident Indians and American Indians can vouch for it. This blog also had contacted the local organizers in USA and received audition fee details and application form via email. We DO hold the email and picture screen shots as a proof against the ghastly accusation by retarded company such as MSM. Also there was advertisement on air that had collaborated Boogie Woogie New York finals at South Sea Port in New York along with Deepawali celebrations where singer Raghav had participated. IF THIS IS CLAIMED AS A SCAM BY MSM THEN THEY NEED TO LOOK AT THEIR BROADCASTING DATES AND question their OFFICIALS in USA FROM WHERE IT ORIGINATED and they better research it right and get their facts straighten up before accusing this blog!

There are pictures of contact numbers and updates for USA Auditions that went on air and those pictures WILL NOT be removed from this blog as a precaution and proof of it being telecasted on air.

Also we think its time that the participants and aspirants who paid the fee in hope to be part of Boogie Woogie Chalo America, needs to find out what it is all about. If Sony refuses to have any connection with the contacts then how come they were advertised on their channel and why is it being denied now? People - it’s your right – get to the core of it!!

This blog will continue to run in full swing in admiration of the judge’s Ravi, Naved and Javed and also for the talent that is show cased on Boogie Woogie. We just will not have the pictures and videos. As for MSM – GET WELL SOON!!

We are extremely happy to read Naved’s personalized message and also to receive Javed’s and Ravi’s wishes. As we are happy, we also feel swell with pride to see their sweet gesture. Only a person with his head over his shoulder and feet firmly on ground can behave like this. They truly are God’s angels on earth spreading humanity and goodwill.

As we know our favorite show Boogie Woogie won many awards recently and one among the awards last year is the “Eighth Indian Telly Awards 2008”.

Boogie Woogie won the award for the “Best Kids Program”. Below you will find the clipping of both Ravi and Naved receiving the honor at the award function.

Boogie Woogie was also nominated for the “Best Continuing TV Program” but unfortunately that went to “Kkasam Se”. (We will talk about this later.)

Naved, Javed, Ravi, and the entire team of Boogie Woogie, please know “WE” entire boogie woogie fans are very happy and we hope and pray that 2009 brings you even more awards then this year - God Willingly!!

Normally Sony Channel was pretty good in announcing the timings and giving updates at least till last week. They were running a message regarding the strike and said the new episodes will begin December 1^st. But today was a disappointment as the new season of Boogie Woogie did not start L

I really was hoping to see Boogie Woogie and when I switched on my television set at 8 pm, I was surprised to see a rerun of look alike competitions. I wonder what happened.

Zee TV on the other hand has been pretty good with their update and said the new episodes will commence from December 7^th that is Sunday. But looks like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa had a fresh episode today.

I guess we will just have to wait another week to watch a fresh episode of Boogie Woogie. What can one do till then? Well you can go ahead and enjoy your weekend. Finish off the stuff that was there on your “To Do” list. Pamper yourself, love and laugh and stay happy!!
