Todays guests on Boogie Woogie were Cutie pie Shruti and the Badshah of Comedy Shakil Siddique. A hilarious episode and a must watch!! The dialogues of Shakil Siddiqui are unbeatable. I will write more on them seperately but without saying much for now I will just let you enjoy the episode. Its a complete laughathon.

The first jodi to come today was Hritik and Hritik. They had the emperor Hritik and Kaho na pyar hai Hritik perform. They started with the Jodha Akbar song and the other Hritik coming in to challenge emperor Akbar in dancing. They both gave a fabulous performance but then I felt their performance was interrupted with the Jadoo entry which was okay but the undigested thing for me to understand was Jadoo turned out to be Aishwarya and she danced to dola re dola song which I felt was totally uncalled for. But then its only me so maybe it wont feel awkward to you. Both the Hritiks are such awesome dancers and I was sure they would walk away with the cake today but I was little disappointed that their potential wasn’t used to the maximum on the show. Anyway the performance was just fabulous minus the Aishwarya. What is best and a MUST MUST watch is the after performance dialogue delivery between Hritik and Shakil Siddique . Finally a person who could answer back to Shakil and I surely think he can make him run for his money too. Well Done Hritik - You Rock!!

The next to come was Amitabh Bachan and Shashi Kapoor. They both threw in a fabulous performance but again the unwanted twist in the story put me off. If the mother dancing and the silly Shaka story could be omitted it would have been so much more fabulous. But the after performance dialogues between the look alikes and judges were entertaining especially when Mr. Amitabh Bachan’s went emotional and talked about getting such a big platform on Sony and was thankful. Shakil too had great things to talk about Sony. Yes no doubt I too think Sony Channel is the best channel among all the channels. It stands class apart.

Now was the Himmesh Reshammiya and Rajpal Yadav’s turn to perform. I can say it was the second best performance for tonight that I thoroughly enjoyed. And Himmesh look alike is so much better dancer then the real Himmesh - a very talented guy. Unlike the other Himmesh, this Himmesh made me laugh instead of the other making me frown when he opens his mouth. I seriously think we should replace this Himmesh with the real one Oops did I write that? That too on a blog - Bad very bad! Thankfully I am happy for the freedom of Speech Anyway the entire performance was hilarious and very well put especially Rajpal Yadav. He was the cutest thing to watch. Totally entertaining. The after performance talk especially between Himmesh and Ravi was touching. Watch the video - you will love it.

Alright the next to perform was Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. Sanjay Dutt look alike is so much like Sanjay Dutt. It was a good performance but then again maybe my mind is not working today as I did not understand nor liked the Big Boss theory in there. I felt it was just an alright concept nothing special but the actors were fabulous so full marks to them from my side. After Munnabhai MBBS got released there were so many jokes on Munna and Circuit and they are available all over the net. They easily could have used a better concept and made it so much more interesting. Probably the expectations were too much since the characters are so popular and the Big Boss concept just didn’t do justice to the actors potential. But watch it for Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi - they are great!

The last performance of the evening was the best performance of the evening. It was now the turn for Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol to perform. They had a fabulous concept, acted fabulously and dance was superb. The act was hilarious especially when Sunny was beating up in boxing ring and the background sound went “Thak thak thak”, I felt it was just great. The way Khali stood with his arms up was adorable. And the after performance dialogues of Sunny Deol were just FANTASTIC!!! I can say, it was absolutely a pleasure watching him. I wish there were more of look alike episodes instead of mere two weeks. Two weeks were not enough as we crave for more so hoping Boogie Woogie will bring them back soon.  

Now comes the result part and for once I can say I wasnt nervous or felt bad because everyone were winners. Nobody were eliminated and everyone were declared winners. Way to go!! I loved it!

In today’s episode two of my favorite people who I think are extremely talented had come as guests. Yes -  I am talking about Purbi Joshi and Swapnil Joshi. I really admire Purbi Joshi and her sense of humor. She is an awesome talented girl. I had spotted her first in Ek Se Badkar Ek and was mesmerized by her talent and since then totally have been enjoying her as a host in “Kaate ki Takkar”. She also did a small role in movie “Dusvidania” which got released today. I sure think she has a long way to go. Now coming to Swapnil - he as everyone knows belongs to the category of people who gave humor a new meaning. On Indian television channels, comedy had almost died with just loud and poor jokes. I think people like Swapnil Joshi had saved it. Stand up comedy saw a new era due to great talents like Swapnil Joshi. He is and will be a favorite of many including myself. So I can say that it was sheer pleasure to see them both on the sets of Boogie Woogie. God Bless them!!

Okay today the first look alike pair to come was Mr. Amitabh Bachan and Mr. Shatrughan Sinha. The show started with Mr. Shatrughan Sinha trying to woo a girl by gifting her a matka - (a pot) and she in return asks him to sing. They both danced to “Yahi kahi jeeyara hamar” and Mr. Amitabh bachan interrupts by singing “Andheri raato mein”. It was a good and enjoyable performance. It was Hilarious!! They both after the show also delivered some dialogues in Sindhi and Marathi. Watch it, you will like it!!

The next entertaining performance was of Mr. Rajesh Khanna and Mr. Mithun Chakraborthy. They gave another hilarious performance starting with a guy dancing superbly who apparently is Mimo (Mithun’s son) who is made fun of his dancing by our own Rajesh Khanna saying what he is dancing is not the real dance and the real dance is the Rajesh Khanna style of dancing. Memo starts to cry and calls his father to his rescue. It is then Mithun’s hears his plea and sends Mimo to eat rasgulla and promises him to take care of Rajesh Khanna’s business himself. He then starts to dance on Aa gaya halwa wala aa gaya and Aao baadshah. A wonderful performance by both the look alike actors. Must watch!

Okay now be ready to laugh your lungs out. It is time for Mr. Manoj Kumar ji and Mr. Aamir Khan to come. Every time people see Manoj Kumar with his hand on his face, that itself is good enough for make everyone roll with laughter and here was a combination of him along with Aamir Khan. I wonder if they both would like to work in a movie and if they would then who would kill whom would be the next question. Okay so the performance started off with the lagaan cricketers joining on the stage and Aamir walks in with his cricket bat. Manoj Kumar is the bowler and as he starts to bowl in his own slow style, the music in background “ghannan ghanan” starts making them think its going to rain and so they stop. This initial minute is the most hilarious but then it takes over with both the look alikes dancing to “Rang de Basanti” with Manoj Kumar trying his best to mingle with the crowd. Must must watch!!

Next to come was Sanjay Dutt and Govinda. I must say they look so much like Sanjay Dutt and Govinda. Like a carbon copy. They came in wearing a orange and brown overall and the expressions and dance was fantastic. It starts off with slapping a guy and Govinda asks Sanju what the slap was for. They then start to woo a girl on the song “Hasina maan jaayegi”. Pay attention to the ending as it is hilarious with almost everyone slapping Govinda. I enjoyed it thoroughly. A wonderful performance of course. Then after the performance Sanjay Dutt did his little magic with Purbi and Swapnil on the stage. Both the actors also did some stage mimicry. I wont tell much - just watch it - You will have fun!!

Okay guess what?? It is time for Salman and Sharukh to perform!!! They both did a hilarious and fantastic spoof with both Salman and Sharukh waiting to get the best filmfare award. Salman starts dancing on “Arre re re Love me” from movie No Entry and Sharukh dances on song “Koi hero yaha” from Phir bhi dil hai Hindustani and then it was time for both to start dancing together on movie “Karan Arjun” number. After this you will go through the hilarious moment when a girl comes in dressed up in a white saree calling them Karan and Arjun and both the actors fighting to get mothers attention. At this point they talked about Dus ka Dum and Kya aap Paanchvi Paas hai with mother ending up beating both of them. Now we witness another spoof where Karan Johan makes an entry on stage to announce the award and on his way to Sharukh, he starts to feel the byceps of Salman and Salman in return yells him. As both Sharukh and Salman fighting to get the award from Karan and Karan kissing Sharukh’s foreheard (a hilarious scene), we hear an announcement where the real winner is declared and that turns out to be the Singh is King Akshay Kumar. Watch it - Must must watch - very entertaining. I must say both look alike’s are fantastic and did a wonderful job. Salman look alike was sportive enough to take his shirt off and he does have a well built body. You GO MAN!! And as for Sharukh look alike all I can say is he is wayyyy better then the original

Today’s Look alike special started off with a special announcement that Naved Jaffery will be joining politics. So we might be seeing him as the future chief minister or prime minister. But for now friends do keep your valuable vote saved for him

Any guesses which constituency he will be contesting from? Maybe he will announce that in another episode but I am guessing it will be one of the constituencies in Maharashtra. I wonder if he would contest on behalf of some already existing political party or will he form a new party called “Boo Party”? What about Ravi? Will he join politics too? I sure think they both would make a good pair of politicians. They will be the first pair of politicians who would give punches to one another but all in good humor and still be the best of friends. We sure need some good politicians with good sense of humor don’t we? One thing is for sure – I can bet my money that the symbol of their party would be a punch with “BOO” words written on it. We might see them go around asking for votes “Vote doh vote doh - Boo ko vote doh” and the volunteers shouting “jeetega bhai jeetega Boo jeetega!!” or what about “Gali gali mein naara hai, hamara neta pyara hai”. What about Javed? Will he work on similar grounds like Sonia Gandhi does now?

Oh well the political talk was only a joke by Naved in today’s episode but I think it was a fantastic thought.

You know recently I saw a movie “The Heroes”. It came with a beautiful message that said “You don’t have to be a soldier to serve your country. Yes I agree! You don’t have to be a soldier nor a politician to serve a country. We each one of us can do our part of serving our country in our own special way. A Hero is someone who makes a difference in ones life. A difference that is for good - something that is respectable. If people are looking up to you then you are a hero. I along with many millions do think there are heroes in Boogie Woogie. They are making a difference week after week in so many lives. If they want they can turn around their marketing approach and join the bandwagon of other reality shows but no they firmly believe in humanity and continue to do their good deed in serving and making a difference among people. You will be surprised to know that the people who work in their team also act the same way. They say birds of same feather flock together and so we see a team who believes in the same strategies and has same behaviorism’s. During the auditions for Boogie Woogie, I wanted to get some information for the site and so I contacted different cities and was surprised that each and every one of them spoke softly, with full manners and was very helpful. It can be called a coincidence if it happens once or twice but if the response was same from all their team members then that is not a coincidence. It just shows what and how they are.

Although they are doing their part in serving the country but if tomorrow they decide to enter politics then it sure would be a good thing. Why not? We will finally see some unbiased clean and honest leaders who will really work hard towards the betterment of the country. If Ravi, Naved and Javed can built such high standards and maintain it for so many years they surely can be successful politicians as well. And India does need a good bunch of politicians who would be honest, and for whom “making a difference” would be a sole motive. So Naved - if you seriously think of joining Politics tomorrow – one thing is for sure – YOU GOT MY VOTE!!!

First of all I would like to apologize as I missed the first few minutes of the show and I am extremely sorry about it. Today’s episode the first part is missing in the videos where Hritik Roshan duplicates had performed, I missed the first 8 minutes of the video due to channel unavailability in my area.

The first pair to perform were the double Hritik Look Alikes and from the flash back it looked like they performed on “sitaro ki mehfil” from movie Kaho na pyar hai. And I missed one awesome performance

The second pair to come was Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi look alikes. They both threw a cute performance that brings a big smile on your face. Sanjay Dutt look alike looked like Sanjay Dutt of his younger days. They danced on medley songs of Sanju and winded up their performance with Munnabhai MBBS.

The next pair to perform after Munnabhai was Aamir Khan and Manoj Kumar look alike. Aamir Khan look alike was fantastic. His dance moves were fantastic. He hails from Assam and he sounded like Aamir Khan. He said few dialogues in Aasamese language and also in in Hindi and both were delivered beautifully. The Hindi dialogue was from movie “Lagaan”.

The pair that came in next was Amitabh Bachan and Shatrughan Sinha look alike. Both the actors performed well on “Bane Chahe Dushman” from movie “Dostana. It was a wonderful and enjoyable performance. Shatrughan Sinha look alike also delivered few powerful mimicry of few actors. Must Watch!

The last pair to perform on this Saturday night was Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol look alike’s. Both of them are fabulous dancers and Sunny Deol’s look alike mimiced few dialogues and both the actors also sang few lines. The dialogues delivery of Sunny Doel was fantastic and he got good voice too. It was brillaint!

Last, it was time for the elimination round and as the judges said two pairs would get eliminated this week and the rest will carry forward but it was a good day for all the look alike’s. Judges felt all the performances were great and no one deserved to get eliminated.

Next week all of the look alike would be performing along with Boogie Woogie group dancers and they will have to fight for the best look alike dancer title.

Next week would be the last week for the present stage and setup and after that Boogie Woogie would begin its new season with new entire setup. There is lots to look forward to for the upcoming new season of Boogie Woogie. It is getting more exciting then before! so “yah” to it !!!

This Friday as the promos showed there was a look alike special, and we got to see 5 pairs of look alike. I must say it was one heck of a funny episode to watch especially the Himesh Reshammiya and Rajpal Yadav part. These two completely cracked me today and I couldn’t help myself but to laugh out loud. Must watch episode! Most of these look alike artists do stage shows for their living and said they were grateful for getting a big platform like Boogie Woogie to show case their talent. I know one thing, I thoroughly enjoyed today’s episode and hopefully you should too. Please watch videos below.
