i miss you Boogie Woogie Fans are use to seeing quality dances, quality judgment and quality choreographers. After all 13 years plus is not a joke! Since the time Boogie Woogie got replaced with another dance show that is not even worth mentioning, weekends just turned out to be plain boring for us fans!

Boogie Woogie is a show that never demarcated India between its regions for its TRP sake nor the judges choose their own regional dancers as final winners putting the other regions down . As far as any Boogie Woogie fan remembers, they have always been fair in their judgment irrespective of missing you any region, caste, creed or language. The most amazing thing that India witnessed in its history was participants coming from its remote villages to show case their talent and they were not only judged with the same equal eye as rest of the participants that came from major metropolitan cities but were appreciated as well for the talent that they possessed. Boogie Woogie always saw something good in all its participants and made sure to shine that aspect in front of the world giving them maximum limelight. No one tried to cut the throat of one another to jump the ladder of success and hence the result is such that we see Boogie Woogie dancers in other channel dance shows making it a bumper hit.

But unfortunately if one switches on to Sony during same Boogie Woogie slot, what they see is, “good for nothing” biased choreographers playing the dirty survival game by cutting each others throat and praising their missing you1 own stupid judgment. If these are the present breed of choreographers then I really wish they had stayed behind the camera and never brought their ugly themselves in front of the world! The things that were respected on Boogie Woogie show have all been replaced by things that cannot be viewed by family audience . This reminds me of an old quote: “you scream and tell I am good, and it sounds I am good to others even when its the worse - the only thing is that the people who heard such words were deaf”. I really don’t have to expand this quote any further as its self explanatory.

miss When Boogie Woogie took its break, I really was expecting a show to stand at par with Boogie Woogie standards in terms of quality talent and judgment but it is a shame to see a show that is nothing of that sort but a big FLOP! It is one ill composed and mentally ill show that does more harm in growth of the nation then any good.

As far as Boogie Woogie fans are concerned, we are eagerly waiting for Boogie Woogie to come back. And I hope it happens real soon!! We miss you Boogie Woogie!!

prince 4 Yes you heard it right! Original Boogie Woogie’s “Prince Dance Group” of Orissa shines like the brightest star outside of MSM/Sony Territory. Recently the group took part in “India got Talent” on Colors Channel and have managed to make everybody their fan. Prince Dance Group repeated the same performances that they did in Boogie Woogie since 2006 - 2009 and gained great applauds and instant stardom.

One can search for “Prince Dance Group” online and the search returns back with 95,500 plus searches – its more searches that is found for any Bollywood star or superstar. You will find million to dozen forums and chat houses prince 3discussing their performances and applauding them as they saw them for the first time. It is not surprising to see many emails that comes to ones inbox with links of Prince Dance Group videos from friends all over the world with Colors TV logo on it. Its gets pretty amazing to see people sending the video clips from countries and cities where “Colors Channel” is not even available. How and why? If Prince Dance Group first appeared on Sony TV and that too with the exact costumes, make up and performances then how come that it gained maximum popularity and stardom from Colors TV? Except for Sony viewers, rest of the viewers saw them for the first time when India Got Talent got launched. Now I am going to come back to the same rotten topic that I have been discussing for over a year – Videos!!!

The common thinking is that any channel’s TRP is due to their viewership. Based on the TRP, a prince 5channel gains its popularity and also fetches its awards if any but most importantly it gains its sponsors which is the key source of a channels income. The more the advertisements and sponsors for their shows, the more the profits. And companies do not sponsor a show or spend millions on advertisement if the viewership is poor. But a channel is entirely responsible for making any shows viewership either poor or rock solid. The way they present, market and make themselves available gets them their popularity. Let me cut the crap and talk about Colors and their super hit show called India Got Talent!!

India Got Talent did not had as much TRP or popularity as it got after the show was aired. Boogie Woogie’s one of the finest talented performers called “Prince Dance Group” got all the necessary applauds and praises for the channel. Their performed videos hit every prince_dance_group_meets_cmspace and nook like wild flowers. People not only loved what they saw but also felt proud in appraising and forwarding the same to all that were listed in their mailing list. One question that comes to Boogie Woogie fans mind is how come Colors channel did not track those videos and deleted them just like Sony does? Well for only one simple reason and that is because they are smart!! The result of their smartness should be visible next season with high returns and maximum TRP and as well as Popularity and should fetch them high yielding sponsorships where as the performances that were given by the same group on Sony are biting dust in Sony studios waiting their chance for a rerun. They say right “ones stupid decision can cause someone else all their success”.

Well cutting the crap, let me come back to my another point. Long time ago, if you go through the archive, you will prince winssee that I had mentioned Boogie Woogie’s best find and Prince Dance Group was definitely in my few selected list. I so very wanted to put their awesome performance video on this fan blog for a very long time but due to crazy copyrights by Sony, could not publish the third party videos but they say right if you want something bad then you will find a way and so thanks to the plenty of emails that I got from friends with the video clips, I am able to fulfill one of my dream – a dream to put Prince Dance Group videos on this blog!

Enjoy the two fabulous videos of Prince Dance Group along with this article. Please remember that these two videos are the exact same performances that were presented on Boogie Woogie stage ;)

Sayonara Friends!!
