A little boy went to a telephone booth which was at the cash counter of a  store and dialed a number.
The store-owner observed and listened to the  conversation:
Boy                 : Lady, Can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?
Woman          : (at the other end of the phone line) I  already have someone to cut my lawn.
Boy                 : Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price  than the person who cuts your lawn now.
Woman          : I’m very satisfied with the person who is  presently cutting my lawn.
Boy                 : (with more perseverance) Lady, I’ll even sweep the floor  and the stairs of your house for free.
Woman          : No, thank you.

With a smile on his face, the little  boy replaced the receiver. The store-owner, who was listening to all this,  walked over to the boy.

Store Owner  : Son… I like  your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a  job.
Boy                 :  No thanks,
Store Owner  :  But you were really pleading for one.
Boy                 :  No Sir, I was just  checking my performance at the job I already have. I am the one who is  working for that lady I was talking to! This is called -  "Self  Appraisal "

Yes that’s right, dance is a language that is spoken beautifully in its own way. It only depends on the dancer how he or she speaks it. In dance, expressions, eyes, hands, foot work and also to some extend hip movement does what tongue does while speaking. In general when we speak, we convey our message using words of a language that can be understood by people who understands the same language. But dance is such a beautiful universal language that does not get stopped by any barriers of a region. It can very well be understood by all no matter what and where they come from.

Dance in olden times was used as an expression for telling stories. It was used as an ongoing experience of life. Dance as said earlier, was used as an language to speak especially between those who did not speak the common language. It acted as a bonding for those with cross cultural barriers. It is the only language that does not have a prerequisite or demarcates anyone. It is the fairer of the fair!

Dance communicates ideas, stories, emotions, and moods. Judith Hanna mentioned in her article: “dance is a kind of thinking of an ability to solve problems through control of one’s bodily motions. Observations of choreographers at work show that they draw upon musical, visual, verbal, and interpersonal intelligences for success.”

A dance is not a dance if it fails to communicate. Just different dancing steps without any story does not really make any sense. A dance needs to be narrated. The viewer, audience needs to understand the unspoken language without much effort. In short the dance language when performed needs to touch its audience heart. Dance language is probably the only language that deals with emotions round the clock. If it succeeds in its narration, it will be well received or else it gets a name of a jumping jack.

And so they say; “Dance like nobody is watching” but dance is not dance if it isn’t making sense. Be careful in choosing the theme. A theme should set the stage for a great dance. If dance is a language then choreography is its speech. The act of expressing or describing thoughts, feelings or perceptions by the articulation of dance forms needs to be paid enough attention. A dancer who succeeds in expressing the same above thoughts is nothing less of an orator who is of great eloquence.

They say the truest expression of the people is in its dance. Bodies never lie. What you perform has a speech and you definitely do not want to convey the wrong message. Practice your skills friends!

We humans are often recognized by our attitudes. What we say, feel or behave, leaves a very deep impact on our life’s. All our successes and failures are due to our own attitudes. The results that we get or the way we land in different circumstances, our attitude is 99.99% responsible. We often blame either others or our circumstances which is just wrong. Others have nothing to do with anything. Circumstances is nothing but our own way of seeing and facing things. They say when we are positive, the entire outlook changes to the better. Its all in being positive. The few sayings that goes “Work like you don’t need the money” or “Love like it’s never going to hurt” or more apt saying for this blog and that is “Dance like nobody’s watching” all revolve around one major aspect and that is in “being positive”. On this note, I would like to share a small short story with you with the hope that your day gets to see all the positive rays as much as possible!

Jeff was the kind of guy you love to hate. He was always in a good mood and always had something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, "If I were any better, I would be twins!" He was a unique manager because he had several waiters who had followed him around from restaurant to restaurant. The reason the waiters followed Jeff was because of his attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Jeff was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation. Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jeff and asked him, "I don’t get it! You can’t be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?" Jeff replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself, Jeff, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.’ I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life." "Yeah, right, it’s not that easy," I protested.
"Yes, it is," Jeff, said. "Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It’s your choice how you live life." I reflected on what Jeff said.
Soon thereafter, I left the restaurant industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it. 
Several years later, I heard that Jeff did something you are never supposed to do in a restaurant business: he left the back door open one morning and was held up at gunpoint by three armed robbers. While trying to open the safe, his hand, shaking from nervousness, slipped off the combination. The robbers panicked and shot him. Luckily, Jeff was found relatively quickly and rushed to the local trauma center. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Jeff was released from the hospital with fragments of the bullets still in his body.
I saw Jeff about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he said, "If I were any better, I’d be twins. Want to see my scars?"
I declined to see his wounds, but did ask him what had gone through his mind as the robbery took place. "The first thing that went through my mind was that I should have locked the back door," Jeff replied. "Then, as I lay on the floor, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live, or I could choose to die. I chose to live." "Weren’t you scared? Did you lose consciousness?" I asked. Jeff continued, "The paramedics were great. They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the emergency room and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read, ‘He’s a dead man.’ I knew I needed to take action." "What did you do?" I asked. "Well, there was a big, burly nurse shouting questions at me," said
Jeff. "She asked if I was allergic to anything. ‘Yes,’ I replied. The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and yelled, ‘Bullets!’ Over their laughter, I told them, ‘I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead.’"
Jeff lived thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully. Attitude, after all, is everything.

There are many messages that we are receiving everyday enquiring about the auditions of Boogie Woogie and also when the show will restart. As of now we still do not have any news about Boogie Woogie. Both Sony and as well as R & N TV Productions have been keeping mum about the topic. With everyone eagerly waiting for the show to return, we can only hope that it happens soon enough before the fans loose their patience!

We have browsed through entire site of Sony channel and do not see anything on Boogie Woogie. With what that is going on, we can only assume couple of things:

1. Boogie Woogie will be back soon and that is why there is huge vacuum so that it can make the most noise on its return.
2. Maybe Sony is not planning to bring the show back?? (Although, if this is the case then it would be real shame for the channel as the show has given what none other shows ever succeeded in doing and that is creating not only history but also reaching the common mans heart. It is a show that Sony should be proud of airing as there are none other shows that have a special place in its fans.
3. The third option I might think of is Boogie Woogie will be back as soon as Sony gets tired of airing all day long of CID telecasts and repeated telecast. Boy, they sure are killing the show! What a way to go NUTCRACKERS!!!
4. The last option is maybe they really don’t care and will be back whenever they feel like it after all they are not obligated to reply to their fans. Is that so?? HECK NO!!! If anyone think it is the case then I hope they cleanse themselves up from this misunderstanding and let us know what is happening! We FANS deserve to know!!

But, “WE” Boogie Woogie India Blog are positive thinkers and we firmly believe in the good old saying “No News is Good News” and are positive that Boogie Woogie will be back soon enough with a bang. Till then folks, keep practicing and don’t give up!! The show just might be getting all geared up to surprise you totally!

Talking about no news is good news, we got a sweet short funny story to share. Hope it makes you smile…………

A southern woman was away from home for 3 months. She left to the north, to do some business for her mother-in-law. She left her husband, mother-in-law, home, barn, and dog all alone. When she comes back, she sees an old friend Georgeanne.
SW(Southern Woman):Hey Georgeanne! What happened while I was gone?
GA.(Georgeanne..):Oh, there ain’t been no new news.
SW:There hasn’t? Surely there must’ve been, I was away for three months!
GA:Oh, yes, there has been some non-important news…
SW:What?
GA:You’re dog died
SW:My dog died?? How did my dog die?
GA:Well, your dog ate some burnt horseflesh, and it died.
SW:Burnt horseflesh? Where did that come from?
GA:Well, your barn burnt down, killing all the horses and cows, and you dog ate the burnt horseflesh, and it died.
SW:What?? How did my barn catch on fire??
GA:Oh, a spark flew from your home, to your barn, the barn caught on fire, killed the cows and horses, then you dog ate the burnt horseflesh, and it died.
SW:A spark?? From where??
GA:Your home was on fire. A spark flew from your home, to your barn, the barn caught on fire, killed the cows and horses, then you dog ate the burnt horseflesh, and it died.
SW:But, how did my house catch on fire??
GA:Well, a candle was placed near a curtain, the curtain caught on fire, got the whole house on fire, a spark went to your barn, the barn caught on fire, killed the cows and horses, then you dog ate the burnt horseflesh, and it died.
SW:Candles? I don’t own no candles!
GA:They held a funeral after your mother-in-law passed away from shock. Then, they left the candles out, the curtains lit on fire, the whole house, to your barn, the barn caught on fire, killed the cows and horses, then you dog ate the burnt horseflesh, and it died.
SW:Why did my mother-in-law die??
GA:She died after hearing your husband(Her son)left you for another woman, then, Then, they left the candles out, the curtains lit on fire, the whole house, to your barn, the barn caught on fire, killed the cows and horses, then you dog ate the burnt horseflesh, and it died. But besides that, there ain’t been no news…….
