Boogie Woogie India

Saturday night brought 5 more performances to compete in Boogie Woogie’s Best of Best. The first group to compete was Jai Hanuman Kalamanch who were beautifully dressed in a attractive costume in yellow and orange color. Jai Hanuman group as the name suggests danced on Hanuman Chalisa. They started by forming a lotus. The lighting that was used for this group dance was fabulous and it added lot of charm to the performance. The group did a semi classical dance and their synchronization was beautiful. Good coordination between the group and the closure especially lifting Hanuman was beautifully done. One could also see that Ravi was impressed by the group and was seen applauding at many times.

The next group that came to rock was Mumbai Rocks Group who came in with their Break Dance. The group was dressed up in silver and golden color costumes and threw in a cute and entertaining performance. The group’s performance came in with extra excitement because they danced on Jaaved Jaaffery’s song “My name is Mika” from movie Singh is King. Jaaved as usual had a humble look and watched the performance with a smile on his face. The group received good compliments for their performance.

The next performer that came in to entertain comes in Boogie Woogie’s best performers and that is Dharmesh Yelande. Dharmesh did popping and he choose pure desi music to accompany his dance. There are many who do hip hop dancing but watch Dharmesh and you will know why he is counted in the best of Boogie Woogie dancers. His performance was superb and should not be missed. Dharmesh adds his own touch to anything that he picks to perform making it more special. Definitely Must Watch! The after performance got good compliments from the judges with Jaaved saying something new was found in his performance and that he maintained his energy level really good all the way till end. Ravi mentioned about how wonderfully he controlled his breath even while performing tough tasks. Naved complimented him on his sense of rhythm. The judges felt that Dharmesh performance was of international level and have wished him good for his future. Don’t miss it folks – it is MUST WATCH!

The fourth performer that came in to perform is definitely my favorite and I really look forward to seeing him on Boogie Woogie stage all the time! Hari Nath Reddy came in with something new and in his special contemporary style. I feel very strongly that Hari Nath Reddy is not just a simple dancer but a complete artist, a complete performer – he is an opera in himself. If Hari decides to take up theatre, he should be applauded by packed houses and I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I am saying Hari Nath Reddy is Boogie Woogie’s BEST FIND ever!! This time too Hari came with an unusual act of good and bad and acted as half human and half animal. He colored his body and gave a thrilling performance. He choose a Telugu song “Abhay Kumara”to perform. Hari’s narration of his performance was superb and definitely is MUST MUST WATCH! He is such a fine artist that manages to give you goose bumps every time he comes on stage. The after performance talk informed that he has been offered two movies in Telugu and will be seen in about 10 scenes. We “Boogie Woogie India Blog” feel these two movies are only a small beginning for Hari Nath Reddy and he definitely has long way to go. Music has no language and the way Hari Nath narrates in his performance, it speaks wide and clear of his concept making people his instant fan and so we wish Hari Nath Reddy many super hit movies and we do hope he will be recognized of his talent world wide. God bless him!! The judges also spoke of Hari Nath Reddy’s brother Krishna who has been receiving many accolades all over. We would like to speak about Krishna and his group in another article as its ready to be published with many surprises and some questions. Please wait for it. But coming back to Boogie Woogie’s top notch star – Hari Nath Reddy, he also will be seen soon along with Prabhudeva in a Telugu movie. Naved praised Hari and spoke about humility and the best was he sang a song “Mera hi Jalwa” from movie Wanted. Jaaved said his blessings and prayers are with him and may he progress lot more. Ravi informed that he too is extremely happy with the progress that both brothers are making and said their progress is Boogie Woogie’s progress. Well said!!

The last group of this Best of the Best week was Fictitious group who already had made waves with their couple of performances. I think the best compliment that any performer receives is when he is compared with the most popular group and gains fans and accolades from all over. Yes Fictitious group with their first performance itself gained instant stardom compared with Rohan & Group but mind it they are no one time wonders but every time they came to Boogie Woogie brought a improved and a step ahead performance. I was sure that this time too in Best of Best “Rohan & Group” will be seen and would walk away with the trophy but surprisingly they were absent from Boogie Woogie. What’s the reason? Maybe busy with other shows. Anyway Fictitious Group fills the space that was there with Rohan & Group’s absence and they do an amazingly wonderful job. They literally makes you forget judges favorite group. Fictitious group, this time came with B-boying and wore a blue color costume with white color gloves. It was one neat performance that you end up watching with wide opened eyes. The coordination was superb. The stunts that were performed were amazing. I loved the birds act and it was one neatest act in long time. The rotation on head was superb and should spin your head in wonder. It definitely was Must Watch! The after performance talk brought many compliments from the judges with Jaaved speaking that it was very well put together act. The group informed that they also have been taken in few movies such as “Blue” and “What’s your rashii” and said it was all possible because of Boogie Woogie. Well said!! This is only a beginning guys, keep up the good work!

After a flash back the results were announced and this time the results bring a big wide smile on the performers as they all were announced as winners. Awesome!!
