After successful Mummy’s Championship, Boogie Woogie brought their Best of the Best performers to entertain their audience. Friday and Saturday night saw Boogie Woogie’s best dancers and performers and was one entertaining weekend. Of course Must Watch!!
You know sometimes due to advertisements, Boogie Woogie show starts few minutes past 8 pm and this time around it started few minutes before 8. They must have been pretty excited to telecast one hungama episode
Anyway, the first group to start the dhamaal on Boogie Woogie stage was Creation group and they gave one entertaining and perfect performance. The group danced on song “Namo Namo”. Their coordination and the steps they used were beautiful. The standard that Boogie Woogie stands for was clearly visible in their performance. The after performance talk brought the best of compliments from Jaaved Jaaffery who liked the formations, choreography and the coordination of the group. He said the synchronization was superb and the groups performance was very good.
The next performer who came on Boogie Woogie stage was Kiran Sutwane who presented a Bollywood item number. Kiran wore a red color outfit and danced to a mix of “Choli ke peeche” plus “Ringa Ringa” song. The music was remixed very well and Kiran was superb in her item number. Her thoomkas, jhatkas, expressions were simply mind blowing. There is absolutely no wonder why she is among the best of Boogie Woogie’s best as she proved with every beat and rhythm. Jaaved’s comments were “Kiran comes under the top 3 dancers in expressions. Kiran also informed that she has given a number of auditions and very soon we will be seeing her in couple of Marathi soaps (serials). Judges as usual were in their best mood and also were funny.
The next performers who came to show their talent was Rakesh and Madan who came in from Rourkela and performed Hip Hop. They both wore white jacket with track pants and danced on song “nachle soniye tu”. There were many newer steps that you will see in this performance that will entertain you. The flips over each other were pretty neat and the closure was awesome. The after performance talk informed that both Rakesh and Madan has been interviewed by newspaper and also have progressed in life. Judges were very happy to learn about their successes and also complimented that they have shown tremendous growth since their last visit to Boogie Woogie. Rakesh and Madan brought gifts for the judges which were received with equal enthusiasm and love.
The next group was Manisha Nrityalay Group who performed beautiful Kathak on Boogie Woogie stage. This group of girls were colorfully dressed up in beautiful Kathak costumes and gave a very graceful and soothing performance. I personally am very fond of Kathak and found the performance a treat. The group danced to modern music with a touch of Indian classical. It looked very festive just that one dancer lost her balance and fell down but the best thing was none others were disturbed. The dancer, she immediately got herself up and joined her group without loosing a beat. Well accidents happen so its okay! Jaaved Jaaffery commented that their performance was little controlled but he enjoyed it very much. The group informed that they have been performing in many countries including China and Japan and are progressing tremendously.
The next performers were Vikram and Raj who came in from Ranchi to perform yet another Hip Hop in freestyle. They wore white color outfits and danced on popular song “Tauba mein pyar karke”. The flips and somersaults are worth noting as they were beautifully done. Both Vikram and Raj threw in a amazingly entertaining number. Jaaved was very happy with their neatness, synchronization, stunts and said they have improved themselves a great lot. He also commented that they need to work little bit on their beats and rhythm otherwise are doing amazingly well.
The last performers for Friday night was Sharp Shooters Group. The group started powerful with standing on their head making their performance really strong. The group threw in a very cute, entertaining performance. They danced on medley that included songs like “rang de” to “mera hi jalwa” and many other songs. Sharp Shooters threw in a performance that was lot better then the time they were declared winners of dhandhal round. The T-shirts the group wore were cute and had “NUTS” written on them. Jaaved commented saying their choreography was very interesting and came up very well. The performance was very interesting to watch. Naved commented they should have continued the song instead of mixing too many songs in that 2 minute performance. The group also informed that they were taken by Prabhudeva in movie “Wanted” and are the ones who danced along with Salman Khan on song “Mera hi Jalwa”. The group then danced little bit on the same song and also dedicated stumping for Boogie Woogie. It was superb!
