As we said before we are not Boogie Woogie’s official website but we bring any information that we come across for our member’s easy access and so we were happy when we visited Boogie Woogie’s official website “setindia.com” and saw they had rules and regulations along with Mummy’s Championship audition details. As they say “everything is fair in love and war” and in our case both the scenarios are true and so we were quick enough to gather the information from there "just for you". Tauba mein pyar karke pachtaaya ;o) Anyway, please find below the dates and addresses where you need to go for your audition. You will also find their contact telephone numbers.

okay now back to ur questions..
here are the contact numbers you can contact for mummy’s championships.. these were also advertised on TV:

1) registration process: you need to fill in your application form, attach ur picture, and if you are going personally for audition then thats it but if you are sending your dance VCD, then along with your application form, cover letter and ur dance VCD, you mail it to Firdaus.
2) do you need to carry your dance CD: If you are going for auditions, you dont need to make a dance CD, boogie woogie may record your audition so no you dont have to take with you.
3) how long is the selection - what i know is that, it starts in 9 in morning to 8 in night but that is for everyone’s auditions so when u reach and if your alloted time is 11 and u finish, you may go home.. i dont think you need to wait all day long.
4) after selection how long the competition be? - this question Firdaus can answer better.. but i would assume looking at their past formats maybe about 2 and half to 3 months at least.. but i am in no position to answer so pls call the above contact numbers and find out from the appropriate authorities.
5) is there a registration fee - NO FEES for audition or participation in the show. sony has been advertising advicing people to be aware and not to give any fees to anyone and if you come across anyone charging any fees, you must report to sony at Email: feedback.set@setindia.com

Renu… auditions Jaipur mein nahi but Delhi mein hai. Jaipur se aapko I think Delhi jaana hoga auditions ke liye lekin ek baat kahna hai aapse… agar aap delhi nahi jaa paayi toh koi baat nahi… aap apni dance VCD banakar mumbai Firdaus ke paas bhejde. ek hi baat hai. auditions mein bhi sirf recording hi hone waali hai or agar aap VCD bhejengi tab bhi ek hi baat hogi. all the best dear. hope it helps.

I wanted to know ki mummy dance compitition may kis basis per selection hota hai only dance ke basis per ya looks ,persionality,age everything dekhi jati hai aur 2000 participiants hain to kitno ko shortlist kiya jata hai aur uske baad kya hota hai.

anu dear.. i can safely assume that yes boogie woogie provides a choreographer for the future rounds. I think the first performance that the participant gives should be the same as audition number and then as they move to next level and enter theme rounds they should be given choreographer. we have seen vinod and sumeet the master choreographers of boogie woogie with their team coming up with different themes for the participants and also training them. so yes there should be choreographer if the participant gets selected and moves to different rounds.

parvinder dear.. jaha tak meri samaj hai, boogie woogie ki selection hamesha sirf dance talent ke basis par hi hoti hai. dance beats par kiya ke nahi, dancing skills kaisi hai, kuch different performance joh pahle dekhne nahi mila woh hai ki nahi.. something like that. boogie woogie aisa show hai jaha looks matter nahi karte. age aor personality shayad thoda kar sakte hai jaise ke agar woh log mummy championship sirf umar 40 and above ke mummys ke liye rakhne waale hai toh shayad preference sirf aged mummys ko hi denge aor jaha tak personality ka sawal hai, agar 4 log audition mein for example 9 marks laaye, aor inn chaaro mein sirf ek ko chunna hai, toh phir personality or flexibility dekhi jaayegi (yeh mera sonchna hai) aor short list ke liye i think…for example… agar audition ke liye 100 log aaye, unmein se 75 log song “kahe ched ched” par dance kiye, aor 25 kuch different joh pahla nahi dekha kuch waisa kiya toh innka chance zyada hoga. tv waalo ko unki TRP banane ke liye hamesha kuch naya laane ki zaroorat hoti hai is liye preference unko milti joh thoda hatke ho, nahi toh bore ho jayega.

main audition ke liya gayi thi aur mera audition so so ho gaya not very good because everybody was very good in dance.kya main apni ek dance ki cd bna kar boogie woogie ko bhej sakti hoon.handycam se bani cd chalegi ya kisi good movie banane wale se banani hogi.

parvinder dear. agar aap bhejna chahe toh bhejde lekin mera maana hai ki abhi kaafi derr ho gayi hai mummy championship ke liye par aap apni achi si video Firdaus ko mail kare taake koi aor category mein aap qualify hoyi toh aapko invite kiya jaaye. abhi tak toh woh log results announce karne ki tayari kar rahe honge.. mera sonchna hai ki 25 may se jaise sony revamp hone jaa raha hai toh maybe boogie woogie bhi mummy championship ussi waqt shuru kar sakta hai… aap results ka wait kare aor agar God forbid nahi aaya toh koi baat nahi, next year ke liye aor achi tarah prepare kare.. abhi aap experienced ho gayi hai ki kis tarah prepare karna chahiye.. lekin dont give up! practice karte raha kare. handycam ya professional video se bana huya video dono bhi chalega provided ki video ki clarity achi ho aor aap par focus thik huya ho. agar aap video banaye toh yeh dekhe ki koi background noice na ho aor gaana saaf sunayi de aor aapke expressions clear dikhayi de.

Great to know your registration number. As mine was same in Delhi(151). Just to tell you that results are not out yet. But they are supposed to declare the results this week only.

the best way to participate in boogie woogie is to make your dance VCD and mail it to R & N Productions address to Firdaus. Firdaus address, you will find under auditions. All the best to everyone!!

I had come for the Mummy’s Championship 2009 audition in Mumbai on 2nd May……. later came to know that YRF and BC musics were not allowed. But before I performed there were many others who had performed on the numbers from the same music companies……… Only when I started to perform it was bought to notice and I think thus made a bad impression on the judge who had just made his presence and had not known that there were these performance done earlier. He stopped me and later when I told him he said to proceed but had a negative impression on his face……..I am sure I am a very good dancer and to my misfortune I was not selected. May I have a second chance to perform in your next Mummys Championship. It means a lot to me and I cant explain in words……
