April 11th - Review of Boogie Woogie Himmat ki Kheemat

Saturday night continued with the "Dhandhal Round" with some dhamaal by the judges.

The first group to perform was Sachin Dance Academy. The group danced to a Telugu number and it was well performed. In the pre talk one of the dancer spoke about the theme that she will be chased by a street rowdy and her hero will come to her rescue to save her but then for a good part of dance, you do not see her at all as she comes in only in the end so I think the pre talk definitely confuses the theme. But the dance, energies were appreciated by the judges and I felt it was a performance that was well done. The after performance talk was entertaining.

The second group to perform on Saturday night was Body Rock Dance Group from Barodara. They performed on Boogie Woogie’s judges favorite topic. I don’t think I need to mention that as all can very well guess. You will find this topic being discussed almost on every episode. Anyway the performance may sound entertaining to many and it may sound "ewww" to few. I personally am not found of it so I will keep my thoughts to myself and will let you enjoy the performance as the dancers are talented and it was well put performance. The after performance talk was interesting and entertaining.

The next group to performer was Sharp Shooters and they danced on medleys and threw in energetic performance but it was total confusing to me. The sharp cuts of music and inclusion of special effects, I found it little abrupt and less entertaining but the group got great compliments by the judges on the music mixing and energy that they displayed. The after performance was entertaining.

The last group to perform on Saturday night was Om Nateshwar Kalamanch. At this time I seriously started to pray that this is not another performance on hawa ka jhokas and my prayers were answered. This group came with a very cute performance. I thoroughly enjoyed the music, their expressions, steps and everything that they did. It was funny and entertaining. Now this is what I am talking about - a comedy is not considered comedy only if it talks about bathroom issues. It can very well deal with other topics and still bring its finest flavor in form of humor. And this group just proved that. I think for Saturday night, the dance performed by Om Nateshwar Kalamanch was the best one but I still would place the group from Rajasthan at number one. The after performance talk was very entertaining. This group got great compliments by the judges and Javed said if they would have got little more variations in their performance, it would have been lot better but on the whole a very well enjoyed performance.

Okay so now it was time for the results. After the flash back and Jaaved reviewing the videos one more time before he gives out the results, he announced that "group dance competitions" are their favorite. At this time Suresh spoke high about Boogie Woogie show and congratulated the judges. Now the results - there were two groups who were declared as joint winners and they are: Body Rock Dance Academy and Sharp Shooters.  Congratulations Groups!!

Adios Amigos, see you tomorrow!
