March 27th - Review of Boogie Woogie Himmat ki Kheemat

First its spelled Kheemat not Keemat.. lol

Okay this week Boogie Woogie had even more exciting prizes and I really want that car and bike so that I can be a kid again ;) This week it was kids special in pairs to show the himmat to get some kheemat and so we saw some amazing performances.

Friday night episodes USP is judging. You know there were performances that to us will sound awesome but the technicalities and off rhythm that was pointed out by the judges is THE reason to watch Friday’s episode. We sure will be able to learn how to appreciate dance better. I think if it wasn’t for the explanation or pointing out of faults, I would surely write each and every performance as mind blowing because to me it sounded like that. But with due respect to the judges, I learnt how to observe a performance better and it sure will help me for the next time. I don’t think Boogie Woogie ever came with less then top notch performances ever and so they again match upto your expectations. Honestly, I was watching another dance program and once Boogie Woogie started at 8pm, I switched on to Boogie Woogie and could instantly make out the difference between the quality of dance performances and other shows. Watch it, it was mind blowing, hilarious, superb and everyone right from audiences to participants to judges, they did fantastic job!!

The show started off with Ravi and Naved’s jokes and I must say I really enjoyed them. They were awesome and I heard it for the first time so it sounded more funny. The jokes that came from audiences were superb too. The prizes that were given to audiences plus the jokes will surely chuckle you.

The first pair of participants that performed was Adya Aprita Devi and Tejaswani Behera both came from Rourkela and danced on song "Daiya daiya diaya re". The last split that one of the participant did in the end was fantastic. I can say one thing that even though the judges said they went off beat but they surely danced better then the original dancer with plastic face. In compare to hers, both the girls were fantastic!!  And…… I am sure in for some bashing … lol

The next pair that came in to perform was "Shreya Modi and Jhanvi Patel" from Baroda. Both the girls danced on song "Khalaas". They both danced very well and I really loved their performance. Just two things I want to correct. One of the participant said if she wins the show then her parents will be proud of her so I would like to say, they participating in Boogie Woogie itself should make their parents proud not their winning. Parents are always proud of their kids no matter what!! The second thing I want to say is I really loved when one of the girl said if she wins, she will give the bike to her brother as gift. Now thats whats up!! coming back to their performance, watch it - you will surely enjoy. It was fast paced energetic number.

The next to perform was "Ashwin Chatterjee and Sonia Chakraborty" from Jamshedpur. They both danced on song "prem jaal mein phas gayi" and did a awesome job. Their performance was very well enjoyed and and makes you smile. Their expressions and the steps were fabulous. The after performance talk was hilarious and I don’t know how many will agree with me but I really liked Sonia’s way of speaking. Soft and mannered. Grandfather was awesome dancing and so was grandmother. Totally Enjoyed!!

Now was the time for Kinjal Ranawat and Manvi Rathod to dance. Both the girls were from Mumbai and danced on medleys. Now again I think its important kids know that parents do feel proud all the time. Its not that they will be proud only if their kids win so please take this out from your mind. Such things can build a wrong impression on life especially when things don’t go well later in life. Whether one wins or not, parents and your audience will always be proud of you for attempting. so Keep It Up!! Coming back to the dance performance, it was well enjoyed performance. Judges did say they went off rhythm and that must be corrected. On the whole a well put performance.

The last performance of the evening was the best performance of the evening from audience point of view and as well as judges point of view. Rajesh Kumar Sahoo and Bhupendra Bhal. They both came from Bhubaneshwar. Listen to their pre performance talk - it was cute. They danced on song "Mauja mauja" and gave a breathtaking performance. Every stunt, every step was fantastic. It definitely goes in Boogie Woogie’s one of the finest performances. They put some comedy in between and it was hilarious. I think we surely need to see more of these kids and hope they come back on Boogie Woogie with some more mind blowing performances. The compliments that they got from the judges makes them stand on top of the list and if in Saturday’s episode no one comes in compare at par with their performance, they surely will be the winners. Let’s wait for the results but a Must Watch!! Go to Apni Community or India Forums to watch the video. Its the last video there ;)

With this the Friday night episode ended but before that there were couple of more jokes. Enjoy!!

See you later with Saturday episode - Have a fabulous Saturday!! :D
