Boogie Woogie India

First of all I am extremely sorry for being late in publishing Friday night review. I had to attend an emergency. Anyway, last night  for a long time after the show I kept thinking what should I call this episode - how much ever words I searched, they did not match the word I was looking for. The show is something you don’t want to miss. It was totally entertaining and adorable - entertaining is really a small word. Must watch!! go for the reruns or videos - I sure am going for them

Today’s show started with Naved and Ravi joking and Javed joining in with another joke. Their jokes will surely make you chuckle. Watch them!

The first participant to start the show in partner round was 6 year old Sayalee Tupe who brought her friend Mayuri Gedam to dance on "Maar udaali ni kukiye" song from movie "Pinjar" which was based on Amrita Pritam’s novel. One of my favorites. Both Sayalee and Mayuri were dressed fabulously in traditional clothing wearing pink and golden and their steps, energy matched very well with the song. Watch them answer when they are asked how they met as they both live in Amaravati and Kanpur. On the whole the entire performance was totally adorable.

The next performance was from Simran Sheikh who brought her friend Alister Tirukoti to dance with her. Both are from Mumbai and Thane. They together danced on song "Bhagam bhaag". Pardon me if I am messed the song title. You can always correct me. But coming back Simran and Alister’s performance. One word - Fabulous!! Each of their step was so rhythmic and enjoyable. Simran is very flexible and she can do wonders as she grows up. At this point the hilarious comments and communication starts between the judges. Then it was Simran’s father’s turn and Ravi talks him into dancing on the stage. Again entertaining. He reminds me of "Venkatesh" telugu film superstar who also had starred in few Hindi movies.

Now was the time for a spoof and Viren Raj Baraik helped in spoof. It was hilarious. Watch it, it will surely crack you up. I am going to try something new here and let’s see if that will work or else we have Kuki to blame it on! Is that okay Kuki?

The next participant to carry the show forward and make you roll with laughter after the show was Sanjana Bamrada and her friend Mansi Sharma who came in from Chandigarh. Both these adorable little girls performed on yesteryear’s evergreen song "Huzoor e aala". They both danced perfectly and with utmost grace. Their each and every step and expression was highly enjoyable. It’s true old is gold and it adds its own charm to the music. There was a huge difference and the entire show turned into another world altogether with this performance. Watch Sanjana and Mansi talk. It was the MOST ENTERTAINING AND ADORABLE TALK I HAVE EVER WITNESSED. I must have laughed so much after a long time. MUST WATCH!! Thanks to Fryingpakodas for giving us the link to this video.

Okay now it was turn of our little master Subhrajeet Barik to perform. He was accompanied with his friend Kalpana Sahoo and they both performed on superhit Remo Fernadez number "Hamma hamma" from movie "Bombay". Both danced well but I felt Subhrajeet had better energies then his partner but overall it was really good performance. After performance talk was again entertaining as Subhrajeet is musical in his speech and so it was fun to watch.

The next participant to perform was little Khushboo Kargutkar who brought her friend Apurva Kakde. Both danced fabulously on yesteryears golden number "Hasta huya noorani chahra" and did justice with the song. Their steps, expressions and style was fabulous. They were dressed beautifully in sync with the song. They got good comments from the judges and on the whole the performance was fantastic.

The last participant of the show on Friday night was Nupur Bhatt who got her mother Natasha Bhatt to perform. Both mother and daughter danced on combine remix songs "Kangna tera ni" and "Karle baby dance wance". They danced wonderfully well and from no angle it looked like a mother daughter pair but like two sisters. Maybe we can see Natasha competing in Mom’s Championships? Again the after performance was fabulous especially Mr. Bhatt singing SUPERBLY. He is highly melodious and can touch your heart with his singing. Listen to Mr. Bhatt talk about treatment that Boogie Woogie gives to their participants and their families. There are many people who can pledge for that and I have witnessed that too. We will talk about this a little more in detail on another day soon. Oh another thing - Boogie Woogie guys all three of them are great singers too. I hope we get to listen to them sing full song someday

With this the show ended with six more participants to compete tonight and that will bring the Partner round to an end with semi finals and finals starting from next week onwards with the 12 lucky performers.
