Boogie Woogie India

In today’s episode two of my favorite people who I think are extremely talented had come as guests. Yes -  I am talking about Purbi Joshi and Swapnil Joshi. I really admire Purbi Joshi and her sense of humor. She is an awesome talented girl. I had spotted her first in Ek Se Badkar Ek and was mesmerized by her talent and since then totally have been enjoying her as a host in “Kaate ki Takkar”. She also did a small role in movie “Dusvidania” which got released today. I sure think she has a long way to go. Now coming to Swapnil - he as everyone knows belongs to the category of people who gave humor a new meaning. On Indian television channels, comedy had almost died with just loud and poor jokes. I think people like Swapnil Joshi had saved it. Stand up comedy saw a new era due to great talents like Swapnil Joshi. He is and will be a favorite of many including myself. So I can say that it was sheer pleasure to see them both on the sets of Boogie Woogie. God Bless them!!

Okay today the first look alike pair to come was Mr. Amitabh Bachan and Mr. Shatrughan Sinha. The show started with Mr. Shatrughan Sinha trying to woo a girl by gifting her a matka - (a pot) and she in return asks him to sing. They both danced to “Yahi kahi jeeyara hamar” and Mr. Amitabh bachan interrupts by singing “Andheri raato mein”. It was a good and enjoyable performance. It was Hilarious!! They both after the show also delivered some dialogues in Sindhi and Marathi. Watch it, you will like it!!

The next entertaining performance was of Mr. Rajesh Khanna and Mr. Mithun Chakraborthy. They gave another hilarious performance starting with a guy dancing superbly who apparently is Mimo (Mithun’s son) who is made fun of his dancing by our own Rajesh Khanna saying what he is dancing is not the real dance and the real dance is the Rajesh Khanna style of dancing. Memo starts to cry and calls his father to his rescue. It is then Mithun’s hears his plea and sends Mimo to eat rasgulla and promises him to take care of Rajesh Khanna’s business himself. He then starts to dance on Aa gaya halwa wala aa gaya and Aao baadshah. A wonderful performance by both the look alike actors. Must watch!

Okay now be ready to laugh your lungs out. It is time for Mr. Manoj Kumar ji and Mr. Aamir Khan to come. Every time people see Manoj Kumar with his hand on his face, that itself is good enough for make everyone roll with laughter and here was a combination of him along with Aamir Khan. I wonder if they both would like to work in a movie and if they would then who would kill whom would be the next question. Okay so the performance started off with the lagaan cricketers joining on the stage and Aamir walks in with his cricket bat. Manoj Kumar is the bowler and as he starts to bowl in his own slow style, the music in background “ghannan ghanan” starts making them think its going to rain and so they stop. This initial minute is the most hilarious but then it takes over with both the look alikes dancing to “Rang de Basanti” with Manoj Kumar trying his best to mingle with the crowd. Must must watch!!

Next to come was Sanjay Dutt and Govinda. I must say they look so much like Sanjay Dutt and Govinda. Like a carbon copy. They came in wearing a orange and brown overall and the expressions and dance was fantastic. It starts off with slapping a guy and Govinda asks Sanju what the slap was for. They then start to woo a girl on the song “Hasina maan jaayegi”. Pay attention to the ending as it is hilarious with almost everyone slapping Govinda. I enjoyed it thoroughly. A wonderful performance of course. Then after the performance Sanjay Dutt did his little magic with Purbi and Swapnil on the stage. Both the actors also did some stage mimicry. I wont tell much - just watch it - You will have fun!!

Okay guess what?? It is time for Salman and Sharukh to perform!!! They both did a hilarious and fantastic spoof with both Salman and Sharukh waiting to get the best filmfare award. Salman starts dancing on “Arre re re Love me” from movie No Entry and Sharukh dances on song “Koi hero yaha” from Phir bhi dil hai Hindustani and then it was time for both to start dancing together on movie “Karan Arjun” number. After this you will go through the hilarious moment when a girl comes in dressed up in a white saree calling them Karan and Arjun and both the actors fighting to get mothers attention. At this point they talked about Dus ka Dum and Kya aap Paanchvi Paas hai with mother ending up beating both of them. Now we witness another spoof where Karan Johan makes an entry on stage to announce the award and on his way to Sharukh, he starts to feel the byceps of Salman and Salman in return yells him. As both Sharukh and Salman fighting to get the award from Karan and Karan kissing Sharukh’s foreheard (a hilarious scene), we hear an announcement where the real winner is declared and that turns out to be the Singh is King Akshay Kumar. Watch it - Must must watch - very entertaining. I must say both look alike’s are fantastic and did a wonderful job. Salman look alike was sportive enough to take his shirt off and he does have a well built body. You GO MAN!! And as for Sharukh look alike all I can say is he is wayyyy better then the original
